Delete your TaskHeroes account

1. Open TaskHeroes and sign in.
2. Go to Profile (the last tab) and scroll to the bottom.
3. Tap Delete account. If you have a task or job in progress, finish or cancel it first.
4. Read what will be removed, tick the confirmation box and tap Delete my account. You are signed out immediately.

If you use both sides of the app (customer and Hero), deleting the account removes both profiles — there is one account behind them.

If you can no longer sign in, email hr@pdtservice.com from the email address registered on your account with the subject “Delete my TaskHeroes account”. We will confirm the request with you and complete the deletion within 30 days.

• Immediately: your account is closed, you are signed out everywhere, and your profile stops being shown to other users. Open tasks are cancelled and removed; your chats and offers are deleted; reviews you gave and received are removed.
• Within 30 days: you can change your mind — sign in again with the same email and your account and data are restored. After 30 days this is no longer possible.
• After 30 days: your profile, addresses, tasks, offers, chats, reviews, photos, Hero verification documents and device tokens are permanently erased from our systems.
• What we keep: the record that you accepted our Terms (version and date), and anything we must keep by law — for example to respond to a lawful request from an Indian authority or to defend a legal claim. Security logs are kept for up to 180 days and then deleted.

We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above:

• Account and profile data — for as long as your account is open.
• After you delete your account — your account is closed immediately and your profile, addresses, open tasks, offers, chats, reviews and photos are erased within 30 days, unless we must keep specific records longer by law (for example to respond to a lawful request from a government authority, or to defend a legal claim).
• Hero verification documents — deleted once a verification decision is made and you no longer need verified status, or when you delete your account, whichever is earlier.
• Sign-in codes — expire within minutes and are not kept afterwards.
• Security and access logs — kept for up to 180 days, as Indian cyber-security directions require, then deleted.
• Inactive accounts — if you do not use TaskHeroes for 3 years we will remind you by email and then erase your data, as the DPDP Rules require.

We protect your data with reasonable security safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS), one-time sign-in codes instead of passwords, access controls and audit logs on our servers, and limits on who in our team can see personal data. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India without delay, as the DPDP Act requires, and tell you what you can do to protect yourself.
